STUDENT RESEARCH PROJECT

Dear affiliated partner/club,

I have been approached by a research student from the University of the West of Scotland Sport Science Department who is keen to work with local clubs within South Lanarkshire to assist with a research project.  Research Student, Michelle Smith,  is keen to engage with clubs and athletes over the age of 16 years.
The short questionnaire will approximately take 10 minutes  and will explore the coaching of psychological skills may involve, and will then be used to evaluate coach education programmes in the area of psychological skills (e.g., goal setting, imagery, relaxation, and self-talk).
Michelle is happy to visit clubs/athletes before or after their training sessions to gather information.  If interested in assisting Michelle with her research, I would really appreciate it if you can contact Michelle directly. (email address below)
