The results of the above event which took place last Saturday at Drumpellier Park in Coatbridge have finally arrived. For the club's young athletes the following times were recorded :
Under 11 Girls 1200 metres : "A" Team - Emma Lawton 5 minutes exact, Cliona Campbell 5:20, Kate Kane 5:24. These three girls were the second team overall this age category. Running as an individual Carla Graham ran a time of 6:38.
Under 13/15/17 Girls 2000 metres: "A" Team - Caitlin Campbell 8:19,Amie Mulholland 8:14 and Lisa Stenhouse 8:31. This trio were 10th team overall.
"B" Team - Kirstin McDowell 10:41,Nicole Sharp 8:50 and Emma Campbell 8:31. This team were 14th overall.
The only disappointment on the day was that we did not field any complete boy's teams . However there were some fine performances from those who did run as follows:
Under 11 Boys 1200 metres: Jack Nobile 5:32 and Conall McDowell 5:39.
Under 13 Boys 2400 metres: Calum Stewart 10:19 and Greig Mulholland 10:25
Under 15 Boys 2400 metres: Ian Rae 9:34 and Jack Thomson 13:04
Once again well done to all the young athletes.
