I have recently been asked by a number of people from our club and outwith what has happened to two of our promising young athletes namely Craig Ferguson and Andrew Reid. Both lads are also talented footballers and as the title of this blog suggests have been signed up by professional clubs and unfortunately for us this means they can no longer represent the Harriers.Craig has went to Heart of Midlothian while Andrew is with Aberdeen. The parents of both boys have expressed their disappointment that they cannot continue with their involvement in athletics but have promised that if things don't work out at the football they will return to our club.
Our best wishes go to Craig and Andrew in their football careers.
