Club Training Thursday 6th March

Thursday's session is back to working at VO2 max effort. The purpose of these sessions is to maximise the ability to use oxygen which translates into better running economy at all slower paces over longer distances, whether it is a 10k race or an ultra. The session is at Langlands Place and is 6 x 800m at 5k pace with a 1 minute stand/jog on the spot recovery. With many having just run 5k at the Scally, 5k pace should be fresh in your minds! Try to make every rep as close to the same time as possible.
