Monday's session is threshold efforts on the Sainsbury's Circuit (clockwise). The session is 5 x 6 minutes at threshold (comfortably hard, 2 or 3 word effort, sustainable for no more than an hour if you were in a race situation) with 2 minute recoveries.
For those who did the 10k race yesterday, do easy laps of Sainsburys loop. The training effect of the 10k race and the threshold reps is similar for those running 50 minutes plus for 10k.
Thursday's session will be back at Langlands Place at a faster pace to keep the VO2 topped up.
I lost track of the day of the week, hence the lateness of this post!
