The session is a threshold session (on a Monday!) consisting of 5 x 6 minutes with minute jog recovery. The level of effort is in the range of 2 or 3 word talking g effort or 1 hour race effort. The effort should remain consistent but the pace varies with hills and wind.
Start the reps on the Queensway after emerging from the Murray roundabout. Carry on down to West Mains Rd, East Mains Rd, Kingsway and the club.
Thursday will be an easy 4-hills. Saturday is the GAA XC Session at Bellahouston Park for those who can manage. Hopefully conditions have improved by then.
