As noted on Monday, Thursday's session is the 4 hills, a classic preparation run for Brampton. For those new to the club, it's about 9.5 miles and has (more than) 4 hills. The idea of Thursday's run is to run at an even, steady effort throughout, except for a very easy first mile or so to the BP garage on the Kingsway from where you should pick up the pace a little up and over into the village and onwards. Similarly, have an easy jog in from the NEL roundabout at the end.
Saturday is the GAA XC Session at Bellahouston Park. Be warmed up and ready to start the first rep at 1030. It is usually around the cricket pitch which is in the main park area a short distance from the swimming pool and carpark.
