It’s an exciting year for our club Giffnock North as we host
our 25th Anniversary 10K in Rouken Glen Park in June this year.
I’m writing to you in the hope that you will promote this
significant milestone to your members.
The Rouken Glen 10K is a challenging route but in a beautiful
park, and the last 2 years have seen clear blue skies and sun! Apparently it’s
to be the same this year...
Traditionally we have not seen a lot of club runners in the
race hence why I am getting in touch. We would be delighted to welcome some of
your members this year to help mark this occasion with us.
Runners will benefit from a reduced anniversary price of £10
for Scottish Athletics Members, £12 for non, and one of our well regarded
technical T-shirts. We will also have two water stations, two more than many
club 10Ks.
Runners can enter through ‘entry central’ and keep up to
date with the event on our Facebook Page ‘Giffnock North Festival of Running
2017’ which also includes details of how to enter.
