Cumbernauld 10k

Ian Hughes chose a relatively flat race for a change today but reaped the benefit of all the hard races and hard training he has put in this year to set a massive pb by over a minute, finishing in 6th place out of a field of 500 in a time of 36:11. The weather was warm and the race scenic, starting at Broadwood Stadium and going around the loch with only a few slight inclines. The race was won by Robert Gilroy despite running into the back of the police motorbike escort!

Very well done to Ian for this big step up.
