Harrier Sets PB against Beijing Olympian!

Stuart Gibson was the sole Harrier at the Scottish Athletics Senior Track Championships at Pitreavie today. Stuart lined up in the 5000m against a quality field including Olympic steeplechaser Andew Lemoncello and two of Shettleston Harriers' contingent of Eritrean athletes. Despite blowing up following the hot early pace, Stuart still managed a PB of 16:13 finishing in 12th place. A much better time is certain to come in a more even paced race. The race was won by Andrew Lemoncello in the excellent time of 14:11 followed by Tsegezab Woldemichael (14:15) and Tewoldeberhan Mengisteab (14:28).
