As many of you know, myself & Genevieve took on the Barcelona Ironman on Sunday.
We were both very near our predicted times & absolutely loved it - it was a huge & quite emotional event & I found it amazing what you can get out of your own body if you break it down & dig deep enough.
A few people have been asking for a race report, which I have now written. Needless to say it is fairly extensive so rather than dumping it on this Blog I have put a link below to our ATHelite Blog where you can read it if you are so inclined & have time to spare!
Thanks to everyone who popped in, called & texted to give us support & encouragement both before & after the event.
We have a couple of weeks of essential rest now then we shall make a return to the Harriers to train at a normal level again for a while!
