Arran Half Marathon
Two Harriers sailed overseas for the Arran Half Marathon today. Not so fresh back from his holidays, defending champion Stuart Gibson finished 7th in a time he confesses was a personal worst of 1:22:24. Perhaps too many karaoke sessions! Every cloud has a silver lining though and Kenny Beattie achieved a personal best of around 1:40.

1:40:46 to be precise. Yeah Go Me !Always a good race, fantastic scenery, very casual affair, friendly atmosphere and excellent post race reception. It would be good to see more Harriers at this event.
