For the final Thursday session of the year, it is no surprise that it is a threshold session. Continuing with 24 minutes of total work, we drop back to 4 x 6 minutes with 2 minutes jog recovery. A change from the usual threshold routes for this one, we shall use the Stewartfield loop. Warm up via Strathaven Rd, Churchill Avenue to Lidl, along past Kirktonholm and up the lane parallel to Stewartfield Rd. Start the reps on Stewartfield Crescent, heading in a clockwise direction around the loop (Stewartfield Crescent onto Stewarfield Way and then back up the hill on Stewartfield Crescent). When the session is finished, complete whatever lap you are on and return to the club via the same route as the warm up.
