From the forecast, it looks like it will be the golf course this Threshold Thursday. Given the difficult under foot conditions, the focus is even more so on the level of effort rather than pace as is always the case with these threshold sessions. Warm-up with a half lap approximately (to the start of the "corrugated" section of fairway). Then start 4 x 6 minutes with 2 minutes jog recovery. Cool down by finishing whatever lap you are on at the end of the reps.
Great to see lots of off-road snowy running in EK this week, which is not only low impact on the legs but is also building strength. It looks like Monday will be tropical by comparison.
