The path closure that diverted our trail race last year would now seem to be for good reason!
The council closed the path as it was too costly to remove the threatening overhang so it looks like Storm Frank has done them a favour.
(The path fence is visible on the right and gives a sense of scale.)

Hopefully that'll dramatically reduce the Council's projected cost...a couple of burly workies should have that cleared in a morning Jim!
Or a dozen harriers in a week!
