High Heels Half Marathon
Thanks to all who sponsored my Mum in her High Heels Half Marathon.
It was tough conditions on Saturday, but she marched on undaunted, braving wind, rain, dive bombing swallows and charging geese to complete the 3.54 laps of Strathclyde Park in a pb of 4 hours 30 mins, 20 mins faster than her last training session.
She wore out three pairs of high heels in the process and raised over £1000 for South Lanarkshire Young Carers Forum.

A fantastic achievement by Jim's Mum, I am sure you will all agree. We can all take inspiration from this (for those who were not at the club last Thursday, I am sure that Jim will be able to accept retrospective sponsorship on behalf of his Mum from anyone who missed the chance).
