SLAP will be having an AGM on 3rd Sept at the Hamilton Palace Sports Grounds and we require a volunteer to attend. We are also looking for 2 representative from the club to attend another 1 meeting this year and between 2 and 4 meetings next year including the AGM. Its important that we stay actively involved in these groups to keep up to date with all relevant developments and its not a lot to commit to up to 4 meetings a year. I need names by 14th August so either contact me direct as im not at the club this week or ask Andy or Frances to pass your name to me.

As a past chairman of SLAP I would urge the club to continue with close links to this organisation. We cannot exist in a vacuum and although we may think we can manage on our own, it is vital that we participate fully in the athletics forum within South Lanarkshire.
