Many of you may have caught a glimpse of our very own Eddie Reid on the BBC coverage of the Commonwealth athletics on Saturday night. The video at the following link shows Eddie valiantly pushing small children aside to get Usain Bolt's signature on a Calderglen vest, alas to no avail. Eddie appears at about 2 minutes 43 seconds into the 3 minute video.

Nae luck Eddie, a good try though - was that your own signature already on the vest?
Disappointing after trying so hard to get Usain to sign the vest. I managed to get his team mate, 100m Commonwealth Gold Medallist Kemar Bailey-Cole to sign it though.

Who? Never hear of him! I once got a shirt signed by a very famous footballer called Nacho Novo. Tried to sell it and ended up giving it away!! Don't waste your time the next time he comes to town.
