It was a fairly cool day for a half marathon and the wind from Saturday had dropped away.
The start was delayed by approx. 25mins due to replacement chips being brought in for everyone
We had 8 Harriers racing in our latest GP event. The times I will give here are just rough and we will need to wait for official results for more accuracy.
First Harriers home was the returning Andy Buchanan (1.28) although see me for a vest followed closely by Stephen Phimister (1.30) then our first lady Julie Beveridge (1.33) being chased by Stuart Waugh (1.34) and trying to get in the mix Kenny Leinster (1.36). We then had a short wait for John McBride (1.43) then a little more for Phil Marshall (1.54) being chased by Mary Goldsmith (1.56). With so few running there was some good scoring in the GP. Well done to those that represented the Club today. More pictures to follow

Well done everyone. Good to get an early season half under the belt. Grand Prix and Club Championships now updated.

Thanks Russell for providing support out on the course.

13 miles is a long way and it was good, and entirely unexpected, to hear Russell giving us encouragement along the way. Greatly appreciated.
