Club Training Monday 25th April

Monday sees our long-awaited return to our fortnightly session at Chatelherault Country Park. For those who have not participated in a Harriers training run at Chatelherault before, either go direct to the car park off to the right of the main drive from the main entrance at Fernigair Rd (see the post from last week for a map) ready to run at 7:30pm or be at EK Sports Club at 7pm sharp to share cars to Chatelherault. If you are going direct to Chatelerhault, select the "Training Venue" option on the training registration form; if you are going from the Sports Club, select the "EKSC" option. This will give us an idea of how many cars and who to wait on before the packs start their runs. It is particularly important that everyone sticks to their designated packs for this run as we have lost people on this route before (even Harriers who have been there motre than once). Please do not race and do not drop anyone from your pack. In selecting the packs, I aim to have at least two members of each pack who I know are very familiar with the 7 mile lap of Chatelherault. Could everyone please check the published pack list and hence know who is expected to turn up.

The Chatelherault lap is a steady pack run. Even at an easy pace, this lap builds stamina and strength; it is not about speed.
