I'm happy to write a report Russell - but give me a chance to have a beer or two! Thanks for posting up the scores.
Martin.
Well done everyone especially young Samantha.
Andrew "J " Buchanan here. New to the club was running the 10k today did it in 39min 49sec. Lorraine Buchanan also new to the club ran the 10k in 1hr 2 sec.
It is great to see so many Harriers running today.Congratulations to Davie Searil who has a 100% record for the Great Scottish Run and there were good times recorded for all the other Harriers. Particularly good to see some new Harriers running across the range of events, well done to Joey and Andrew J for such good times.
Frances, Kay and Kenny all ran the Neil McCover at Kirkintilloch. Results are not yet out but approx times were as follows: Kenny 1.38, Frances 1.39, Kay 1.43. Frances and Kenny were using this as the last race before Amsterdam and were trying to get a race pace. This was a really good run for Kay who finished very strongly on a really hilly course and will be good preparation for Brampton.
Justine Black has also been missed. 1:51:31.
One more missed-Katie MacKinnon - 1:37:10. And a pb
Only a slight exaggeration Kenny, today was my twenty third consecutive GSR and it should also be mentioned that Jim Holmes and Davie Wardrope were also running their twenty third.
Well done to all the Harriers old and especially the many new members who have all performed brilliantly in the 10k and half. Hopefully this is just the start of many great times in the future. Alan

As someone who has been a member of the Harriers since 1985 I have to agree with Alan that it is fantastic to see so many new and enthusiastic people running in Calderglen vests.
