Well done to Martin, Julie, Anne and Russell for completing the London marathon and representing Calderglen Harriers in this huge event. The pictures looked great on the television and the weather looked equally good.
Thanks all for your support, from back home and down here in London. It's such a tough, tough race and the support keeps you going. For me I felt good at halfway, was holding back and still had a lot in reserve. It's surprising how quickly things can change, maybe partly due to it being warm. After mile 18 my legs were shot & the support definitely got me to the end. Still happy with time & performance. Roll on the next one. Martin
