Well I think we just about got away with it!! Enormous thanks to those from the club who managed to either help us out or run on the day either in the 5k or the junior 1k.
Special thanks especially to Coach who worked so hard for us in the lead up to the race as well as on the day - it seems the man will go to the ends of the earth in exchange for a handful of Tunnocks Wafers!
The horrendous weather prior to race day forced an 11th hour route change for the junior 1k which pushed us to the limit but lots of smiling faces at the end & a good turnout from the Harriers junior section.
We believe there were about 50 runners out of the 75 pre-entered.
The 5k followed the same testing route as last year & the trails held up well despite the previous rain & the Rangers had managed to clear all the fallen trees from the weeks high winds.
168 finishers out of the 225 entered - not bad considering the weather.
Results can be found below via Coaches entry - basically Ronhill Cambuslang cleaned up the Mens results & Motherwell AC took nearly all the Female prizes!
